Inter-Juventus is indeed the Derby d'Italia, but it is also, above all, a match that has seen players from all over the world hit the back of the net. It's a globalization of goals that starts from afar and it's one that sees many countries get onto the scoresheet. From Europe to South America, there have been many foreign goalscorers of all ages, right up to the last goal scored between these two sides: Cristiano Ronaldo's right-footed strike. Among those who have left their mark on the rich history of this rivalry are three names that stand out above all others.

OMAR SIVORI

The Argentine No.10 is the Bianconero who has scored more goals than anyone else in the Italian derby. His tally is well over five, and it was his strikes that helped create a rivalry that he felt particularly attached too. Sivori scored his goals across four games: in the 2-2 result in his debut season; in the victories of the following two years years (1-3 in 1958-59, 0-3 in 1959-60 where he scored twice); and finally, another goal in another 2-2 in 1961-62.

DAVID TREZEGUET

San Siro is a stadium that inspires Trezeguet particularly. And if his most well-known goal is the one against Milan, he also found the back of the net against both Milan clubs in his first year at Juventus. The Frenchman also repeated the same feat in the following season against the Nerazzurri, with a 2-2 scoreline. One goal that gave the Old Lady a victory, and that has the smell of redemption, was when Trezeguet returned to playing after year on the sidelines. In his goal, that flew past Julio Cesar there is an evident exhale of anger which was accumulated by Trezegol and his companions.

GONZALO HIGUAIN

It is the goal that is worth the league title, the seventh consecutive. Not mathematically, however, as that will come later. But it was Higuain's goal that decided Inter-Juventus... In fact, it establishes the superiority of the Bianconeri in the 2017-18 in the league. Inter-Juve of that tournament is a collection of everything that can be in a game. Douglas Costa handed the Bianconeri the lead, before the Nerazzurri turned the score around and took hold of the advantage. But the Bianconeri never gave up, and a resounding turnaround took place in the final minutes: first Cuadrado's effort took a deflection off Skriniar, then it was Pipita who converts the free-kicked struck by Paulo Dybala. The Argentine combination is perfect and fixes the final result, Inter-Juventus 2-3. What a night.
