Goals from Rosucci, Girelli and Cernoia seal the deal at the Stadio Felice Chinetti, confiming a 0-3 win away from home to make it four wins out of four in the Serie A this season for the Bianconere.

THE MATCH

It what seemed like could have been a tricky test for Juventus, turned out to be a one-sided contest at Chinetti. The opening 20 minutes saw two teams go toe to toe with attack and defensive strengths on show early. However, it wasn’t until the 24’ mark that Martina Rosucci was able to squeeze the ball into the back of the net after a brilliant passage of play that saw Juve go up 0-1.

From then on, it was all Black and White. Inter were not able to hold off the onslaught of attack coming their way as we created chance after chance and altough not exactly testing keeper, Marchitelli, physically. She was more than certainly tested menatily as each chance had the opportunity to end with an on-target shot on goal.

That chance came just six minutes later when Cristiana Girelli got her head to a free-kick cross that saw the ball fly past Marchitelli and into the back of the net. Putting Juventus up, 0-2 before the break and with still a long 15 minutes left to play. Half-time could not have come sooner for Inter and we looked destined to pounce on a third before returning to the changing rooms.

The second half started more or less how the first did. Again, both sides showed off their ability to attack and defended. However, this time around, Juventus had to do more of the defending. Inter were determined to repeat what we did in the first but in their favor. It wasn’t to be for them, a resolute performance at the back, especially from Sara Gama who was seen everywhere, broke down each opportunity the opposition had.

We looked sure to close the game out with a two-goal win but in the dying moments of the match, precisely the 89’ mark, Valentina Cernoia scored the last goal of the afternoon, making in* 0-3* in favor of, of course Juventus.

The full-time whistle blew shortly after which was met with screams of joy from half of the players on the pitch.

The first Inter-Juventus match ends in victory for the Bianconere.

GUARINO'S POST-MATCH COMMENTS

"We prepared for this game like all the others. We immediately started with a fast pace, taking the game to the opposition, a situation in which we wanted to be in. For large stretches, we played very well. Obviously, we still have a lot of work to do but we saw a really good Juve today. For the championship, I think we will have to fight until the end and every game will be important. As for the Super Cup? Fiorentina are always a team of the highest level that shows great strength."
