After having conquered a splendid second consecutive Italian title, on Sunday the Juventus Women will have the opportunity to achieve another great goal. Parma’s "Tardini" (starting whistle at 12:30) will host the Women’s Italian Cup final, where Juventus will face Fiorentina.

It’s a final, that as the Juventus coach Rita Guarino explained to Juventus TV, was "achieved with great pride", after brushing aside Tavagnacco and Milan.

"The double header against Milan was the most difficult,” comments Rita Guarino. “We won 2 -1 in the first leg after going down in the first half, and we reversed the result with great determination. It was a result that gave us a big hand to better manage the return match. Milan made us sweat in the next round, so I have to say that this is a final achieved with great pride.”

At the "Tardini", Sara Gama and her companions will face a well-known adversary: Fiorentina, who dueled with the Bianconeri until the final day for the Scudetto title.

“Fiorentina is a well-equipped and strong team like us,” added the coach. “It will be a game of great balance; they, too, come from an intense and tiring season between club and national commitments. We both come into the game not at maximum strength, but the stakes are so high that the energy will eventually come out.”

What will make the difference? "In such an important match, it is clear that tactical organisation will be crucial, but in the end…,” reveals Rita Guarino. “Tactics and technique won’t only count. It will be necessary to know how to hold on to the opponent. The desire to take the result home will be decisive.”
