It will be a historic occasion for many reasons. After playing host on 201 occasions to Juventus – coached by Antonio Conte and Massiliano Allegri – Sunday will be the first time the Women take to the field of Allianz Stadium.

Outside of the iconic arena in which the game will be played, this match will be a top-of-the-table clash in the log standings. Only one point separates the two power houses of Italian women’s football (Juventus on 47pts, Fiorentina 46pts), making the ‘Premiere’ a fantastic occasion to be watched.

The Bianconere come into the game fresh off the back of a 3-1 win over Pink Bari last weekend, with Bonansea, Aluko and Pedersen all getting on the scoresheet. Fiorentina, too, will arrive in Turin on Sunday buoyant by their 3-0 triumph over Hellas Verona Women on match day 18.

Here are five stats and facts about the potential title-decider:

AN ALMOST IDENTICAL RECORD: Juventus table standings shows as such: 18 games played, 15 victories, 2 draws, and 1 win. Fiorentina sports an almost identical record, with one game drawn and two lost.

TWO BEST DEFENCES: This encounter will see the two best defences come head-to-head on Sunday. Rita Guarino’s women have conceded just six goals, while Antonio Cincotta’s ladies have let in nine goals.

TWO BEST ATTACKS: Similarly, to the defensive exploits, the two sides boast the strongest attacks in the league, with Fiorentina having scored more goals (62) than any club (3.4 avg per game), while Juventus have 53 (2.9 avg per game) efforts to their name.

FIREPOWER: Bonansea and Aluko can both be found occupying a spot in the top five goalscorers in the league, with the strikers having scored 12 and 11 goals respectively. Fiorentina’s Bonetti is Viola’s highest goalscorer with the same number of strikes as Aluko.

AVERAGE AGE: The average age of the Bianconere squad if 26.2, while that of the Tuscans is 25.4, with both teams sporting a great balance between experience and youth.
