Disability is not a limit, but only one of the characteristics of the human condition. The whole Juventus for Special project is based on this fundamental principle to encourage the inclusion of people with cognitive relational disabilities through sports. An activity that for two seasons has been involved in the "Quarta Categoria" tournament, not without great satisfaction, both on and off the playing field.
And speaking of off the field, today, the players of the Special teams headed up lessons for the athletes of the Juventus Youth sector who attend J|College, directly demonstrating the feelings that an athlete with a disability experiences whilst playing football.
Sharing and normalising their experience with enthusiasm, disrupting the prejudices linked to disability through experiential moments in the gym and others of confrontation and debate: These are the essential elements of Juventus for Special @ School to convey important food for thought to the new generations through a fun training session.
A concrete step to overcome the wall of prejudice.
