Euro 2020 Qualifying Group C has two Bianconeri competing in the same group, with both coming out victorious in their games.

Emre Can and Matthijs de Ligt both saw their countries, Germany and the Netherlands respectively take three points away from home, allowing them to further extended their lead at the top and create more of a gap from third-placed, Northern Ireland.

de Ligt played the full 90 minutes in Holland's 2-1 win away at Belarus, with the goals coming from a Georginio Wijnaldum brace, with the Oranje holding on despite Stanislav Dragun's second half strike for the hosts. Elsewhere, although Emre Can was sent off 14 minutes into Die Mannschaft's game with Estonia, it made little difference, as Germany ran out 3-0 winners, an Ilkay Guendogan double and Timo Werner doing the damage in the second half.

Wojciech Szczesny also tasted victory, guarding Poland's goal for the entire match in their 2-0 win against North Macedonia in Group G. Przemyslaw Frankowski and Napoli's Arkadiusz Milik both scored in the last 20 minutes to qualify Poland for Euro 2020.

South American FRIENDLIES

There were two friendly tests for the South American national teams with Juventus players. Alex Sandro remained on the bench in Brazil's 1-1 draw with Nigeria in Singapore. Rangers and former Charlton Athletic midfielder, Joe Aribo opened the scoring for Nigeria, with Real Madrid's Casemiro netting the equaliser for the Selecao.

Paulo Dybala was a second half substitute in Argentina's emphatic 6-1 win over Ecuador in Spain. La Albiceleste raced into a 3-0 half-time lead through Lucas Alario, a Jhon Espinoza own-goal and a Leandro Paredes penalty. Angel Mena pulled a goal back for Ecuador in the second half, before Argentina once again ramped up the intensity as Dybala provided an assist for German Pezzella to head in a free-kick, with Nicolas Dominguez and Lucas Ocampos finishing the rout.

TONIGHT'S GAMES & TOMORROW'S APPOINTMENTS
