The ongoing World Cup saw Juventus Women also shine in the Azzurre shirt, but now it's time to focus on the new season. Rita Guarino and her Bianconere are set to return to the field soon.
It’s a season that promises to be exciting: not only for the defence of the Scudetto and the Italian Cup, but there is also a Super Cup to be won, along with the fascinating adventure in the Champions League.
Pre-season will start on 25 July, as the Head of Women Stefano Braghin revealed to Sky Sport: "The rally is set for 25 July. We have kindly granted two more days for those who featured in the World Cup. With Rita Guarino it was hard to negotiate.”
The Bianconere will then head for their retreat in Aymavilles, in Valle d'Aosta, on Sunday 28 July. It’s there where Sara Gama and her companions will warm up their engines for the third year of Juventus Women.
Andrea Staskova will be the latest addition to the squad: “We followed her for a year,” reveals the Head of Women. “And it was not a simple purchase given the competition. We had to anticipate the operation so as not to miss out.”
