Juventus will be aiming to extend their lead at the top of the Serie A table when they return to the San Paolo.

The Bianconeri will take on Carlo Ancelotti’s side at San Paolo on Sunday evening, with kick-off at 20:30. It’s a game, that over the years, has largely been considered a top-of-the-table clash, and this year the fixture once again presents itself in the format of first versus second place.

      THE CAPTAINS: INSIGNE VS CHIELLINI

Sunday evening will see an interesting battle of the captain’s take place. Giorgio Chiellini, who is in his first season as the Bianconeri skipper, will look to lead his team to victory. Over the years, he has scored three goals against Napoli. The outing against the Partenopei will see him earn his 499th cap for the club, moving him to one match within an iconic 500 appearances. On the opposite end of the field, Lorenzo Insigne was given the armband after inheriting it from Marek Hamsik, who recently left the Dalian Yifang.

      THE GOALSCORERS: MILIK VS RONALDO

Tonight’s encounter will see two of the leading goalscorers battle it out for three points, and, of course, goals. This season, Arkadiusz Milik has scored on 14 occasions and grabbed one assist in 22 games. Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, has featured in Serie A on three more occasions, and has found the back of the net on 19 occasions with eight assists to his name. Should the Portuguese find the back of the net, he will become the sixth Juventus player to equal or surpass the 20 league goal mark in his debut season for the club.

      THE COACHES: ANCELOTTI VS ALLEGRI

The two coaches know each other well, having seen Allegri take over from Ancelotti on the Milan bench in 2010. The two tacticians have faced each other on five occasions, with Allegri taking two wins, Ancelotti one win while the other two fixtures ended in draws.

Here is their records against the opposing teams:

Ancelotti vs Juve: 27 matches, 6 wins, 12 draws, 9 losses

Allegri vs Napoli: 25 matches, 10 wins, 8 draws, 7 losses
