Bonansea, Aluko and Pedersen all score in a 1-3 win

In preparation for Juventus women’s big match at the Allianz Stadium against Fiorentina next Sunday, we first played against Pink Bari this Saturday afternoon.

It was not easy for the Bianconere but we played strong and just after 10 minutes we came close to scoring our first goal by way of Petronella Ekroth, who hit the crossbar following a corner kick.

However, it was Pink Bari that led. As Lazaro’s free-kick forced an own goal by Ekroth. The reaction from Juve was strong as only four minutes passed until Barbara Bonansea impacts scored the first of what would end up being routine win.

We completed our comeback in the second half after Aluko put the ball in the back of the net from a shot from the edge of the box. We continued to push on and it would be Pedersen that scored the third. A wonderful win that gives us a great opportunity to go into next Sunday’s match at the Allianz in perfect form.

      POST-MATCH COMMENTS

“We weren’t very attentive when conceding the goal, just like against Milan on Wednesday,” recalled Coach Guarino. “Now, we are thinking about Sunday, it’s something important. We will continue to work, game after game, be it in the league or Coppa Italia.”
