The words of Sarri and Bonucci following match against the Biancocelesti

Maurizio Sarri and Leonardo Bonucci spoke into the microphones after the match against Lazio. These are their statements:

      MAURIZIO SARRI

“We did a great first half and unfortunately we conceded the goal at the end. It's a pity because we dribbled well, and Ronaldo came close to a second goal. The second half, when the game seemed to have slowed down, was conditioned by unfavourable episodes. In the action that led to the goal, we did not respect the deliveries, because Dybala and Bernardeschi should have been on the edge of the area, and we paid for our carelessness. Bentancur? Tomorrow he will undergo exams to assess his condition. He is a fundamental player for us now. In the middle of the pitch many players are missing due to injury and we will have to come up with something in the coming weeks.”

      LEONARDO BONUCCI

"We were punished by certain incidents, following a great first half in which we dominated without conceding anything to Lazio. I don't think there was a different approach in the second half, it was normal for them to increase the pressure, but we had Dybala’s opportunity which could have taken us to 2-1. We need to improve; this is obvious because we cannot concede so many goals. We also need find the desire and determination not to suffer. Now that this false step has arrived, we will now take the good things done so far and start working again.”
