Sarri, Bernardeschi and Rabiot all comment on the Bianconeri's first outing of the summer

      Maurizio Sarri

"It was a difficult game, there is a difference between us in our physical preparation. Tottenham have players who have known each other for years and in the first half they seemed quicker, but it's normal. In the first half we weren't high enough up the pitch which made things difficult. In the second half we pressed better and we did some good things, even though we were a bit naive in some situations.

"The game was enjoyable, and we hope that it was a good show for the fans. There were so many people and it is a pleasure to see stadiums so full so far away from home."

      Adrien Rabiot

"Overall it was a good match - commented Rabiot at the end of the game - It was more difficult for us in the first half, but we were up against an excellent team, which is far ahead of us from the point of view of physical preparation. In the second half we touched the ball more and played more as a team, and we also improved thanks to the goals. It was the first game, so there is still a lot of work to do.

"Physically - added the French midfielder - I need to grow, but I felt good playing my first game. I found myself very well with my teammates and for the position out on the pitch. We are understanding each other very well within the team and with the coach."

      Federico Bernardeschi

"It's important to get some minutes in the legs, it's normal that we're not yet 100%. The important thing is to continue to work and to do what the coach asks of us and that we played a good game. It's a pity for the result."
