Sara Gama, captain of Juventus Women and the Italian national team, has renewed her contract with the Bianconere until 30 June 2022.
In the past season the centre-back played a total of 25 games while leading the Juventus Women defence and contributing to the conquest of both the Scudetto and Coppa Italia. Also in her Juventus trophy cabinet, there is, of course, the first historic first Scudetto win from the 2017/18 campaign.
Sara was also among the protagonists of the extraordinary adventure at the recent World Cup in France with Italy’s Azzurre squad. And her leadership and decisiveness will continue to be with us: for Sara, in fact, has penned in a contract extension until 2022.
Speaking about her renewal, here is what she had to say: “Juventus is continuity over time: it’s the simplest secret and also the most difficult to maintain to aspire to achieve great projects. I am happy and proud to be part of everything.”
