“The derby is not like any other game. It has a significant meaning for both teams.” This is what Mister Sarri had to say ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Torino. “I will pass the eve of the derby with serenity and awareness that it will be a special game.

“I am expected a highly motivated Torino, one that will fight,” he added. “It will be important for us, tomorrow, that we keep the game on track and to one that suits our characteristics.

“We have to give the utmost respect to Mazzarri for the great experience he has. I have great respect for him and for what he is has done with Torino during his cycle.”

The coach then touched on his players: “When both Ronaldo and Dybala are on the field, the most ideal solution is to play with a playmaker. Gonzalo Higuain is a great player and, after the difficult year he had, I saw him have great motivation over the summer. He is demonstrating his quality. I took a good look at Aaron Ramsey during training, but I am not sure when he will be ready for 90 minutes,” he said before touching on who could be rested and won’t be available.

“I am not sure if Miralem Pjanic will be available tomorrow. Who can help Alex Sandro rest? It depends on the game… In training, we have been working more with Mattia de Sciglio and Danilo on the left.”

If he had been to Superga: “In the past I have gone to visit Superga. It seemed obligatory to me to commemorate a legendary team of Italian sport.”
