He came off the bench and he scored… After 29 seconds… We repeat 29 SECONDS! Not even Danilo could have dreamed of a better way to mark his official debut for Juventus last night.

After replacing De Sciglio with just 12 minutes on the clock, the Brazilian quickly found himself celebrating the opening goal of the big match against Napoli, and his first in his new team’s jersey. His goal against the Neapolitans made him the first Juventus player to score on his Serie A debut since Miralem Pjanic (10/9/2016) vs Sassuolo.

That’s not all, his goal was the fastest scored by a substitute in Serie A, alongside Matteo Brighi in May 2019 (also 29 seconds. The only player to have scored a faster goal on his Serie A debut is Duvan Zapata, who found the back of the net after 17 seconds in September 2017.

A dream debut in an exciting and dramatic triumph over Napoli!
