We are almost there. In two days the Juventus Women will take to the field to battle for the first trophy of the season, the Italian Super Cup, with kick-off scheduled for 12.30 on Sunday in Cesena against Fiorentina.
This is how the Juventus goalkeeper, Laura Giuliani, is approaching the appointment. "It is always a thrill to play this type of competition, and we will try to take the field to win. We will also find a player who we faced at the World Cup, De Vanna: she must be cured, but we will not be caught unprepared."
And then she continued: "My merit? Aggressiveness, high and purposeful play, but this can also become a flaw. I have always dreamed of becoming a professional who imposes professional rules, even if the reality in Italy is that the league is still amateur."
She then touched on her experience in Germany: "Living and playing in Germany gave me so much, from a footballing and personal point of view. I grew a lot in those years, not only on the field, but by also learning a new language and knowing a new culture: I would do it again without a doubt."
