Juventus salutes Moise Kean, who is set to continue his career at Everton

The future of Moise Kean will be in England. The teenager has officially joined Everton Football Club.

      Here is the official statement:

AGREEMENT WITH EVERTON FOR THE DEFINITIVE DISPOSAL OF THE PLAYER MOISE KEAN

Turin, 4 August 2019 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Everton Football Club Company Limited for the definitive disposal of the registration rights of the player Moise Bioty Kean has been reached for a consideration of € 27.5 million payable in three financial years. The consideration may increase of further € 2.5 million on achieving given conditions in the course of the duration of the contract.

The economic effect is positive for about € 22.5 million, net of solidarity contribution and auxiliary expenses.

Moise Kean bids farewell to Juventus – a club in which he enjoyed plenty of success at, all while enjoyed a series of plenty of firsts. This not only testifies to his talent, but also his ability to amaze at such a young age (we must remember that he isn’t even 20 years old yet. He was born 28 February 2000.

He was, in fact, the first player born in the 2000s to make his debut in Serie A (11/19/2016 in Juventus-Pescara), in the Champions League (11/22/2016 in Sevilla-Juventus), and in the blue shirt (20/11/2018 in Italy-USA), as well as the first millennial, born from 2000 onwards, to have scored a goal out of Europe’s five major leagues.

His career, so far, has seen him participate in three Serie A campaigns, two with Juventus and a year-long spell with Hellas Verona. Kean’s first campaign with the Bianconeri came in 2016/17 (three appearances and one goal), while his second, which just ended, saw him play 13 league games and score six times. His scoring exploits saw him become the player with the best goal to minutes ratio – a goal every 89 minutes. He also scored once in the Italian Cup and took part in the Champions League on three occasions.

One thing is certain; Kean’s talent is undisputed, and the future is on his side. It’s a future that we wish him all the best for and, of course, plenty of goals.
