Following the international break, the Bianconere pick-up just where they left off, picking up another three points to make it three-straight Serie A wins, with the goals coming from Cristiana Girelli and then two first goals in Bianconera for first Linda Sembrant and then Maria Alves.

THE MATCH

It can be tricky coming back after a gap of not playing, but Juve manged to avoid any potential slip-ups today by earning an important 3-1 win over Florentia at Vinovo.

Juve Women were made to wait until the 18th minute to strike first. A great ball in from Valentina Cernoia, met with the head of Cristiana Girelli. It's a classic combination and one that saw the number 10 bag her fourth league goal of the season.

However, despite taking the advantage, Florentia rallied and got back into the game on 27 minutes. Again it was a header to make the difference, as Maegan Kelly played in Dessislava Eva Dupuy to nod in at the far post. The Tuscan team kept their shape well as the Bianconere found it difficult to break them down in the remaineder of the first half.

In the second half, the fatigue from the visitors begins to show, as does the quality of Juventus and the Bianconere go close straight from the off through Sofie Junge Pedersen. However, it's another Scandinavian that is the protagonist for the second goal, as Sweden's Linda Sembrant heads in from Cernoia's corner on 52 minutes to restore the lead and claim her first ever goal for the club.

Florentia this time find it hard to get back into the game and Juve pounce to extend their advantage. Substitute, Maria Alves is played in and the forward shows some Brazilian magic to finish well one-on-one with the keeper to make it 3-1 on 70 munutes and make it another first goal. Despite more chances falling the Bianconere's way the result stays as it is with Rita Guarino's girls recording another important result, as they get set now for the next challenge, away at Inter.

GUARINO'S POST-MATCH COMMENTS

"It's never easy after the break, because there's no actual time to work - explains Guarino at the end of the game -. So, in these cases, we rely on our experience, whilst trying to give something more. The girls were good at reading the game well, even though we had few chances in the first half because we couldn't find the spaces. We did much better, then, in the second half. This year it's becoming increasingly difficult to get the wins against all the teams. They are all prepared and the technical level has risen so much, you have to be careful in every game."
