Success for Juventus Women who, in the first match of the Women's Cup, played in Hägendorf, beat the hosts 0-4.
It was a great way to celebrate the first call-up to the senior national team for Arianna Caruso, who together with Sara Gama, Barbara Bonansea, Aurora Galli, Cistiana Girelli, Laura Giuliani and Martina Rosucci, will be play against Israel and Georgia on August 29 and September 3 in the European qualifications.
But today, it was easy in Switzerland for the Bianconere who in the 10th minute were ahead thanks to the penalty scored by Girelli. Three minutes later comes, Bonansea doubled the score with a wonderful back heeled shot past the keeper. The 0-3 arrived in the 21st minute by Staskova, she was found in the area by Girelli and scored a powerful right-footed shot under the crossbar.
In the second half we scored one more. Girelli took advantage of poor play by the opposition defence, dribbling around the keeper and putting the ball in the back of the net, sealing the 0-4 result.
Juventus Women will continue with the final scheduled match on Sunday, when they play against PSG Feminines, which beat Milan Women 6-0.
