Juventus and Empoli have met twice in Serie A Femminile (2017/18): the Bianconere won 4-0 at home and 4-1 away. Juventus have lost only one of eight Serie A matches against Tuscan opposition (7W): the 1-2 defeat against Fiorentina in April 2018.
Juventus are both the team to have finished the Serie A 2018/19 campaign with less goals conceded (only eight), recording the most clean sheets (17 of 22).
Empoli Ladies reached Serie A with a matchday to go after winning 50 points in the Serie B 2018/19 season: the Tuscan’s last defeat was recorded on 3 February against Inter.
Juventus are the only team from last season to boast three players with at least 13 goals scored (Aluko, Bonansea, Girelli).
Eniola Aluko was the best foreign goalscorer last term with 14 goals.
Empoli striker Arianna Acuti was the best scorer for the Tuscan outfit in Serie B (13 goals) last season: the strike also played in Serie A for Empoli during the 2017/18 season (where she scored three goals).
