Allianz Stadium open for Juve-Milan Coppa Italia clash

On Wednesday 4 March, the Coppa Italia Juventus-Milan semi-final match will take place regularly at the Allianz Stadium, and will be open to fans, except for those who reside in the Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna regions, along with the provinces of Savona and Pesaro-Urbino.

The confirmation came from the Prime Ministerial Decree on 1 March 2020, which reads:

“Suspension of sporting events and competitions of all types and disciplines, until 8 March 2020, in public or private places. The holding of the aforementioned events and competitions, as well as training sessions, within sports facilities used behind closed doors, in municipalities other than those listed in Annex 1 of this decree, are permitted. The travel of resident fans in the regions and provinces referred to in Annex 2 are prohibited for participating in sporting events and competitions that take place in the remaining regions and provinces.”

Turin is not part of the municipalities mentioned in Annex 1, while the three regions (Annex 2) from which fans cannot travel are, in fact, the three mentioned above: Lombardy, Veneto, Emilia Romagna along with the provinces of Savona and Pesaro-Urbino.
