Dejan Kulusevski is a Swedish midfielder of Macedonian origin, born in Stockholm on April 25, 2000. Juve has bought the player from Atalanta, buthe will continue the season on loan to Parma.

AGREEMENT WITH ATALANTA FOR THE DEFINITIVE ACQUISITION OF THE PLAYER DEJAN KULUSEVSKI

Turin, 2 January 2020 - Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that the agreement with Atalanta B.C. S.p.A. for the definitive acquisition of the registration rights of the player Dejan Kulusevski has been finalized for a consideration of € 35 million payable in five financial years. The purchase value may increase of maximum € 9 million on achieving given conditions in the course of the durations of the contract.

Juventus and the player have signed a contract of employment until 30 June 2024. At the same time,

Juventus has reached an agreement with Parma Calcio 1913 S.r.l. for the free loan until 30 June 2020 of the registration rights of the same player.

Growing up in Sweden, he was noticed by Atalanta, who then inserted him into their youth sector. Last season, he played on four occasions in Serie A.

But it is in the current season where the spotlight turned on Dejan, who on loan to Parma, has stood out for his technical skills, vision of the game and physicality. Stats-wise: in September he scored his first goal, against Turin (a game in which he also got an assist). In total, he made 17 appearances and scored four goals in Serie A. He’s also made two appearances in the Coppa Italia.

Talent focus: Dejan will be the youngest Juventus player with more than three goals in the five major European League in 2019/20. Only two players born after 1/1/1999 served at least seven assists in this period: Dejan Kulusevski and Jadon Sancho.
