Vice-President Pavel Nedved took to the floor, where he reacted to the statements of Fiorentina’s President Rocco Commisso, regarding the arbitration controversy.
“I don't understand these controversies,” underlines Nedved. “I think it was a good game and Juve won with merit. There is a referee who decides. Today, he also consulted VAR and we must all accept the arbitration decisions, but it seems to me that this hasn't happened lately. We are quite tired of hearing that Juve doesn’t win with merit and teams must stop finding alibis when playing against us. Juventus is always pulled into the game, when the opponents win they cannot accept defeat and this should not happen. We accept defeats: we lost the Super Cup and against Napoli. Have you heard controversy on our part? No. We look at ourselves and try to improve. I don't think controversy is a good thing for football and people are moving away from the stadiums. They are counterproductive for all of us.”
