A total of 24 goals have been conceded by the Juventus defence so far in the league.

A higher figure than last year, but it must be said that Juventus still has the second best backline in Serie A, on par with Inter and bettered only Lazio, who have conceded just one goal less.

The Bianconeri have the best defence during the first half of a game, with only eight goals conceded in this situation, and none since the start of 2020.

Only five goals have been conceded, however, in seven Champions League matches, while 12 have been scored.

Juventus have trailed a game for only 133 minutes this season, less than any other team in the league.

The backline boasts a passing precision of 87.75%, and this is largely due to Leonardo Bonucci's 1346 passes in the league (best figure in the team), and to Matthijs de Ligt's 941.

The central defence have recovered 197 balls (Chiellini and Demiral do not appear in the team rankings, due to their injuries), while Bonucci and de Ligt have averaged 39 tackles.

Let's not forget about Alex Sandro, who with 1896 balls played, lays sixth in Serie A.
