The collaboration between Juventus and Banco Alimentare is a concrete example of how environmental sustainability and social responsibility can go hand in hand.
Since 2020, the Club, in collaboration with Banco Alimentare and its catering provider, has managed the recovery of surplus food from bars and restaurants at the Allianz Stadium on matchdays, facilitating its redistribution to people in vulnerable situations. This initiative forms part of the circular economy practices promoted by Juventus, helping to reduce food waste while strengthening the local solidarity network.
Over the years, this partnership has evolved through additional awareness-raising and volunteering activities, directly involving athletes, employees and local communities in promoting a culture of sharing and social responsibility.
UEFA Youth League Social Project: U20 players supporting Banco Alimentare
As part of the UEFA Youth League Social Project, Juventus renewed its commitment to Banco Alimentare del Piemonte in 2026, actively involving the men's U20 team in a hands-on volunteering and educational experience.
Over two days, fifteen young players had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the daily work carried out by Banco Alimentare to support people experiencing food insecurity.
The first day took place at the Banco Alimentare del Piemonte warehouse, where the players took part in sorting, checking and repackaging food products, while also learning about expiry date management and how to read food labels correctly.
The players subsequently joined volunteers from Carità Senza Frontiere, one of the partner organisations supported by Banco Alimentare, taking part in food distribution activities and meeting some of the people benefiting directly from the service.
The initiative provided an important educational opportunity for the young Bianconeri, allowing them to engage with situations and needs different from those they encounter in their everyday lives and to gain a deeper understanding of the value of solidarity, sharing and commitment to the community.
