ENERGY EFFICIENCY

The Club is continuously committed to monitoring and optimising energy consumption through targeted measures focused on control, system efficiency improvements and technological upgrades.

In addition, the Club works with an Energy Manager certified under UNI CEI 11339 as an EGE (Energy Management Expert) and appointed in accordance with Italian Law 10/91 through FIRE (Italian Federation for the Rational Use of Energy). The Energy Manager supports the development of energy projects, including energy audits and the implementation of a structured Energy Management programme.

The main initiatives supporting the Club's energy efficiency efforts are outlined below.

Management and Monitoring Systems

Since its opening, the Allianz Stadium has been equipped with a Building Management System (BMS) that enables the automatic scheduling and regulation of electrical, heating and cooling systems, including switching on and off, set points, alarms and diagnostics.

Since 2017, this approach has also been extended to the Club's headquarters and the JTCC, while the Vinovo facility remains partially excluded due to the greater complexity of its technical systems.

In addition, dedicated meters have been installed to monitor energy consumption across different systems and verify billing accuracy. The data collected is analysed through a digital monitoring platform developed with the support of the Information & Communication Technology Team, which also helps forecast energy consumption and associated costs.

Lighting

Over the years, Juventus has progressively expanded the use of LED technology across its lighting systems. At the Allianz Stadium, approximately 85% of the stadium area's surfaces are now served by LED lighting.

This transition has resulted in an approximately 24% reduction in the installed power of the pitch lighting system compared to the previous configuration, while also streamlining maintenance, replacement and system management activities.

Beyond energy savings, LED lighting has improved several lighting characteristics, including colour rendering, lighting uniformity, the elimination of flickering and reduced glare. These improvements contribute to greater visual comfort for players, spectators attending matches at the stadium and television audiences.

At the Juventus Training Center in Vinovo, the transition to LED technology has covered the lighting systems of three sports pitches and the main indoor areas. The Juventus Headquarters and the Training Center at Continassa have also been equipped with LED lighting in their indoor spaces since their opening.

HVAC Systems (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning)

The hospitality areas at the Allianz Stadium are equipped with inverters that allow ventilation rates to be adjusted according to the actual use of the spaces.

This solution supports more efficient management of ventilation and air conditioning systems, particularly on non-matchdays and during periods of lower attendance.
