In the 2024/2025 season, on the occasion of Earth Day, Juventus launched “Road to Allianz Stadium”: a pilot project aimed at promoting more environmentally sustainable mobility during the Club’s home matches. Thanks to a collaboration with GTT – Turin’s public transport company – and with the support of Allianz, fans attending the Juventus–Monza match on April 27, 2025, and the Juventus–Udinese match on May 18, 2025, were offered a free daily ticket for local public transport. The ticket was valid for the day of the match and allowed unlimited travel on GTT’s urban and suburban network, including the metro.
The initiative was designed as a concrete alternative to the use of private cars and was reserved for fans under 30 holding a valid match ticket. For these occasions, GTT reinforced the lines connecting downtown Turin to the Allianz Stadium, prioritizing the use of electric buses, in line with the green purpose of the initiative.
This initiative demonstrates that Juventus is taking the right path in tackling the challenge of fan mobility, which accounts for between 50% and 70% of a sports club’s total emissions. With Road to Allianz Stadium, Juventus is addressing this challenge starting from the urban context, with the goal of expanding its scope in the coming seasons, in line with its ESG strategy Black, White and More.
