PARTNERSHIP RENEWAL
The partnership between Juventus and Save the Children was renewed in March 2022 to offer a new three-year period of activities and services to the local community. The renewal came following a path that included significant milestones, such as joining the famous Christmas Jumper Day 2019 campaign to announce the start of the important collaboration; signing up and participating in the ‘Let’s rewrite the future 2020’ programme, which was launched by Save the Children Italy in response to the consequences of the Covid-19 emergency that put the right to education of so many minors at risk; the decision to support the collaboration with MatchWornShirt10 projects to guarantee first aid protection and psychosocial support services to families and minors affected by the earthquake in Turkey in 2023.
Save the Children also collaborated with Juventus for the ‘Together, a black & white show’ event organised for Juventus fans to celebrate the 100-year of anniversary of the Club’s first President Agnelli. At the event, the public was given the opportunity to contribute to support the organisation’s projects dedicated to families most at risk of poverty and social marginality.
In the 2024/2025 season, the collaboration included a wide and meaningful activation plan.
In August 2024, Juventus took another important step forward by adding the Save the Children logo to the jerseys of both the men’s and women’s First Teams, highlighting a partnership that has now lasted for years. Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino emphasized how this gesture represents a further strengthening of the bond between the two organizations, bringing together two global institutions with over a century of history for a shared goal: breaking down the barriers that prevent children from accessing equal educational opportunities.
Throughout the season, employees, fans, and the commercial partner network were engaged and made aware through information and fundraising booths at the Allianz Stadium, dedicated appeals on the maxi-screen, and targeted communications.
Finally, in June 2025, during the Men’s First Team summer tour for the Club World Cup, Juventus worked with Save the Children Canada and Save the Children United States to carry out awareness and fundraising initiatives at the Juventus Village in Toronto and Boston, further strengthening the international scope of the partnership and its positive impact on the local communities involved.
