Player Profile
Born in Saint-Claude in Guadeloupe and raised in Terre-de-Haut, an island in the Îles des Saintes archipelago, Thomas is no stranger to Serie A, having plied her trade in Italy since 2019, when she signed for Roma. The 28-year-old began her football career in her native France, turning out for Montpellier, Bordeaux and Dijon, with a stint at Swiss club Basel in between. Across that period, she enjoyed numerous unforgettable moments in French national team colours as well, including victory at the 2013 Under-19 European Championship and a bronze-medal finish at the Under-20 World Cup in 2014.
Her impact for Roma was immediate. In the 2019/20 season, she was the club's top scorer, as she then won her first trophy in Italy the following year: the Coppa Italia. On the way to that title, the Giallorosse got the better of Juve in the semi-finals, with Thomas scoring in both the first and second leg, a decisive contribution as Roma progressed to the final at the Bianconere’s expense.
