Born in Portogruaro on 3 May 1997, Boattin has been a Juventus player since 2017. She came up through the ranks at Venezia 1984 before joining Pordenone, Brescia and AGSM Verona. A full-back, she was the captain of the Italy U17 team that secured third-place finishes at both the U17 European Championship and World Cup in 2014.
