Role: Chief Football Officer
Place of Birth: Borgonovo Val Tidone
Born in Borgonovo Val Tidone on the 13th July 1972, Fabio Paratici began his sporting career as a professional footballer, playing in Serie B and C, as well as being selected for the national youth teams. He graduated in accounting and was registered in the Register of Sports Directors. Paratici has many years of experience in assessing the technical-tactical-physical qualities of professional footballers and organising scouting activity.
Although he had a long career in the game as a footballer (about 15 years, playing for 10 Italian teams up and down the country) he took a very early interest in the selection and management of players. In 2004, he began his management career at U.C. Sampdoria, as the Scouting Manager. A few years later he was promoted to Head of the Technical Area of the Blucerchiati.
He joined Juventus in 2010, during the first few days of President Andrea Agnelli’s reign, to whom he linked a path of growth and success both on the field and in the management of the club's sports area. In his first year his title was Technical Area Coordinator, before then being appointed Sports Director in 2011. A profound reinterpretation of all scouting, the youth sector and the creation of Juventus Women and Juventus Under 23, are the main cornerstones of the model that Paratici and his colleagues have created.
Since November 2018 he has been Chief Football Officer.
