Turin and Japan continue to forge an impressive partnership.
Following on from the opening of the inaugural J-Lounge in Tokyo earlier this year, the Allievi Nazionali’s experience in the 'Land of the Rising Sun' in June as well as the Juventus Legends fundraiser against Vegalta Sendai in August, this time it was the Bianconeri who returned the favour to host their Japanese counterparts.
Whilst visiting Vinovo with their supervisor from club Sagantosu, the Japanese trio of Ishikawa Hiroto, Nakajima Takumi and Tokunaga Taiga spent an invaluable week under the guidance of Allievi Nazionali manager Felice Tufano.
Having enjoyed a seven-star performance on the field against Parma at Juventus Stadium upon arrival, the youngsters then took part in various training sessions in Vinovo during the days that followed as well as enjoying the company of the Bianconeri young guns as part of their intercultural stay.
Juventus have enjoyed a stellar relationship with the 'Land of the Rising Sun' in recent memory: back in August, Yoshiatsu Oiji - a young talent from J League 1 outfit FC Tokyo - also undertook an exchange programme with Davide Cei’s Allievi Nazionali B.
Tokyo was the venue on both occasions when the Bianconeri lifted two Intercontinental Cups in 1985 and 1996 respectively and the Old Lady have also introduced the Juventus Club Doc Japan initiative which continues to garner many supporters.
