Juventus set off for Liguria later today for tomorrow's match at the Picco stadium against Spezia. Ahead of the Serie A Matchday 23 fixture Massimiliano Allegri greeted the press in his customary pre-match conference. The coach touched on various subjects such as the player fitness, the right approach and the fallout from Thursday's Europa League debut against Nantes.

ON THE OPPOSITION

"It will be a complicated game in La Spezia, it's a tough ground to play at. They are a team that creates a lot of chances, as they showed against Napoli and Atalanta. We must have the right approach, take to the field with our attention high, with maximum concentration and determination."

TEAM CHOICES

"Those who play every three days are used to it. [Federico] Chiesa won't be available because he's very tired after his recent efforts, which is to be expected. I still have to evaluate the others, but there will certainly be some changes.

"[Moise] Kean, [Mattia] Perin and [Daniele] Rugani are three who will come in - also because Bremer is suspended and Leo [Bonucci] is not yet in the condition to start. He's fine but not ready to play from kick-off. However, I'm happy he's in the group. As for the others, I have to decide."

AWAY FORM

"We've scored nine goals in nine away games, a statistic that was boosted with our three goals against Salernitana, otherwise it would be much lower. It's something we must improve upon."

WINNING CONVICTION

"We need to improve our performance during the match, especially when we are in control. After going a goal up against Nantes we slowed the game down and we moved the ball very slowly. We were no longer convinced about getting that second goal when it was something that had to be sought with greater insistence.

"Then we conceded the only time they broke forward - proof that Nantes are very good at staying in the game considering with their first opportunity they punished us."
