Before previewing Saturday's match against Udinese at Allianz Stadium, Massimiliano Allegri took a moment to remember former Bianconeri players Ernesto Castano and Gianluca Vialli, who passed away on Thursday and Friday, respectively.
“They were two great players, and two great men, who gave so much to the game, to Juventus and to Italy.
“I knew Vialli personally and he meant so much to Italian football. He was a role model for the younger players and we will all miss him. Watching him play, you couldn't help but be in awe of his technique, his heart and his passion.”
“We'll have a full house tomorrow and it will be a great occasion for us. Udinese are a physical side and they're having a great season. They have some top-quality players, like our former player [Roberto] Pereyra. It's going to be a tricky match, as they all are."
“[Angel] Di Maria is available again and [Leo] Paredes is improving his condition. I'll assess [Gleison] Bremer today because he's a little tired but we have [Daniele] Rugani who's ready to play.
"[Matias] Soule is another one I need to consider. He helped us out by playing at wing-back against Cremonese but he's more of an attacking player. He's a quality footballer who works hard.
“Alex Sandro should be back tomorrow. [Federico] Chiesa did well in the last game, from a physical point of view too. He needed a match like that. His fitness is improving and I'm very happy.
“[Moise] Kean has come in with a different mindset this year and dropped six kilos. You can see the difference on the pitch. [Juan] Cuadrado is working well and I think he'll be able to rejoin the team in another week or so.”
