Amanda Nildèn is Juventus Women player! Having spent the last season at Eskilstuna United DFF, she will now wear the Bianconere number 5 shirt and add to the already talented Juventus Women squad.
Born in Stockholm on 7th August 1998, she grew up in football-playing family, with her father and grandfather both having played for Swedish outfit, AIK, that she herself would also go onto join, after having first began her journey with IF Brommapojkarna in 2014/15.
In 2018, Nildèn had her first experience playing abroad when she moved to feature for Brighton & Hove Albion. Interestingly, during her time on the English south coast, she played alongside fellow Scandinavian, Matilde Lundorf, whom she will again link up with, this time in the Black and White of Juve.
Last season Nildèn played for Eskilstuna United DFF back in her homeland and now she makes the move to Joe Montemurro’s Juventus Women ahead of the upcoming season, finding herself in good company, as the third Swede in the squad after Linda Sembrant and Lina Hurtig.
Welcome, Amanda! We look forward to seeing you on the pitch!
