20 June 2025
Michela Cambiaghi is officially a Juventus Women player, joining the Italian champions from Inter.
The 29-year-old forward has signed a contract with the Bianconere until June 30, 2028. On the day her signing became official, Cambiaghi gave her first interview as a Juventus player.
“My first feelings are really positive. It’s a whole new world for me, and I can’t wait to get to know it better. I’m incredibly excited and enthusiastic.”
A modern, flexible forward
“Everyone describes me as a modern striker. I like to attack the space behind the defence, link up play between midfield and attack, and finish off moves in the box - especially with headers, which is a skill I feel comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable playing both centrally and out wide, depending on the team’s needs. I always try to read the available spaces and exploit them to my advantage.”
Fitting in
“I’ve faced Juventus a lot, and this past season I noticed how direct the style of play was here. I think that suits my physical and technical skillset really well, and that makes me very happy. I’ve also seen up close how demanding their game is - high-intensity, filled with one-on-one duels. That’s a style I enjoy, because it gives you responsibility. You can’t hide; you have to help the team.”

Familiar faces in the squad
“I’ve bonded with a lot of the girls that I know from the National Team. Especially [Lisa] Boattin and [Valentina] Bergamaschi, but I also have a great relationship with [Cristiana] Girelli and [Barbara] Bonansea. I recently got to know Rosucci too. I spoke a bit with Boattin and she told me what it means to wear the Juventus jersey - the weight and responsibility that comes with it. I know exactly where I am now, and I’m ready to give my all.”
Michela’s objectives
“Every season, we all want to improve on the last. My career so far has been a gradual journey, step by step. This year, I’d love to hit double figures in goals and win a trophy - lifting silverware is something I’ve yet to experience. I’ll give everything I have, every day, to help the team reach all of our objectives.”
