Juventus Women are strengthening this summer, and the latest addition comes with the arrival of Michela Cambiaghi from Inter. The 29-year-old forward has signed a contract until 30 June, 2028, and will wear the no.36 shirt.

Born in the province of Monza, Cambiaghi grew up in a footballing family - her father, Alberto, played professionally in the 1980s. She began her career in the youth ranks of Concorezzese before moving to Fiammamonza, where she made her senior debut at just 15 years old. From there, she steadily developed and grew as a player.

Cambiaghi has played in Serie A Women for several clubs, including Mozzanica, Como 2000, Sassuolo, Parma, and most recently Inter, where she made 47 appearances and scored 17 goals over the last two seasons. She has now surpassed 200 career appearances in Italy’s top flight.

On the international stage, Cambiaghi has been part of Italy squads since 2015, progressing through the youth levels before earning her first senior cap in October 2023. She made her debut in a UEFA Women’s Nations League match against Spain, coming on in the second half for Barbara Bonansea. To date, she has earned 17 caps and scored five goals for the Azzurre.

Stefano Braghin, the club’s Women’s Football Director, shared his thoughts on the signing:

“We’re very happy to welcome Michela. She brings qualities that will be valuable to our attack. She hasn’t been brought in to replace anyone who left, as her attributes are different. It would be reductive and disrespectful to see Michela simply as an alternative - she was my first choice, regardless.”

Now ready for a new challenge, Cambiaghi brings her quality and experience to Turin.

Welcome to Juventus, Michela. We can’t wait to see you on the pitch!
