He was the man who definitively tied the Agnelli name to Juventus and the term 'victory' to the colours black and white.
Edoardo Agnelli, son of Giovanni, the founder of Fiat, was born in Verona on 2 January 1892, 123 years ago. On 24 July 1923 he became Juve president and three years later claimed the 1925/26 Scudetto. Another five years would go by before the club won another trophy, but from that moment on they did so relentlessly. It was the 1930/31 season, the first year of the golden five-year period. Edoardo Agnelli and his Juve began to make history. Five years later they would become legends.
