It’s Wojciech Szczęsny’s special day, and he will be hoping there will be reason for double celebration as he and his teammates take on Atalanta this afternoon. Today, he blows out 31 candles!
The Bianconero stopper has been commanding the backline as Juventus’ number one, and he has gone on to pull dramatic and decisive saves that has earned himself and the team important victories, and, of course, trophies along the way. His reflex saves, aerial strength, agility and his ability to command his backline has seen him bring home six different pieces of silverware: three league trophies, one Italian Cup and two Italian Super Cups.
That’s not all he has to offer of course, as the Pole is known to be charismatic and hilarious away from the field, adding a dimension of fun and a lighthearted atmosphere within the team.
