29 May 2026
On that tragic evening of 29 May, 1985, at the Heysel Stadium in Brussels, thirty-nine Juventus fans lost their lives following the serious disorder that broke out in the stands. As is the case with every anniversary, numerous events and moments of remembrance have been organised to honour their memory.
At 9.00 CEST, the first commemorative event will take place at the ‘Forever Bound’ memorial, located at the Anfield Road Stand in Liverpool. An official club delegation will be present to pay tribute to the victims with a floral tribute.
At 11:00, a commemoration of the Heysel tragedy will take place at the ‘Verso Altrove’ sculpture on Strada della Continassa in Turin.
Juventus will be represented by a delegation led by the President, Gianluca Ferrero, as well as the club’s official banner.
An event will take place at 18.00 at the Italo Calvino Library in Turin, for a moment of reflection organised in collaboration with the city and regional authorities and the “Quelli di Via Filadelfia” Association.
The Juventus delegation will be led by the President, Gianluca Ferrero, accompanied by the Club’s official banner.
Later, at 18.30, the memory of the Heysel tragedy will be honoured at the Garden in Via Galimberti 46 (Borgata San Giacomo, Grugliasco), during a commemorative event organised by the City of Grugliasco in collaboration with JOFC Grugliasco ‘Alessio Ferramosca & Riccardo Neri’.
For this, the Club will be represented by the official Juventus banner, carried by a delegation of youngsters from our Youth Sector.
As dusk falls, the Mole Antonelliana is illuminated, marking the conclusion of this day of remembrance: a ritual that is repeated every year to etch the memory of that painful night forty-one years ago once again into everyone’s hearts.
