International Recap | Conceicao and Portugal win the Nations League!

Francisco Conceicao and Portugal enjoyed a night of celebrations on Sunday, 8 June, as they got their hands on the UEFA Nations League trophy for the second time, after having won the 2019 edition.

They beat Spain on penalties thanks to Diogo Costa who saved Alvaro Morata’s effort, after the game had ended 2-2 in 120 minutes.

Elsewhere, Pierre Kalulu remained on the bench as France beat Germany 2-0 in the third-place playoff. Les Bleus’ goals came from Kylian Mbappe and Michael Olise.
