Juventus Women take on Milan for the fourth and final time this Serie A campaign on Sunday 30 April. So far, the balance is in favour of the Rossonere this campaign with two wins for the Milanese outfit and one for Joe Montemurro's side.

The most recent meeting was in mid-March when the Bianconere collected a 2-0 home win. However, the first time the sides clashed this campaign was on 22 October.

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE

Cristiana Girelli was thrown into the action in the 65th minute, when the scoreline was 4-1 in favour of the hosts. And the striker made an immediate impact, scoring five minutes later to reduce the arrears.

Although the number 10 grabbed a brace - the second in the 95th minute - it was not enough to stop the Bianconere from going down to their first defeat of the season, which was also the first loss to Milan since the debut bout between two of Italian football's heavy weights in November 2018.

ICONIC SETTING

On Saturday 3 October 2020 at the third time of asking, Juventus collected their first win away at Milan. The impact of the iconic San Siro setting was lessened by the COVID regulations that meant the game was played behind closed doors.

The game was decided in the first quarter of an hour when Girelli's goal would not be in vain. The spot-kick finish proved to be enough for all three points.

ONE-NIL TO THE CHAMPIONS

Juve's second and most recent win at Milan came on 14 May last year. Held at the Vismara Sports Center, the game brought down the curtain on another triumphant league campaign for the Bianconere.

The match winner was a player not noted for her prowess in front of goal, Sofie Junge Pedersen. The finish from the Danish playmaker on 51 minutes gave Juve a two-goal cushion in a game eventually won 2-1

SLIDING DOORS

While at the end of the match last season Juventus Women celebrated their fifth consecutive title, this time around the Bianconere take to the field in the knowledge, after Roma defeated Fiorentina 24 hours earlier, that their league crown has mathematically been lost.

However, leaving Vismara undefeated on Sunday would ensure Juventus qualify for next season's Champions League.
