Juventus Women took part in a friendly match on Thursday afternoon, giving the entire team a bit of match practice ahead of their next fixture, Sunday's league clash away at Napoli, kicking off at 15.00 CET. The Bianconere hosted Freedom at Vinovo, running out 5-0 winners winning the match, with three young ladies born in 2006 featuring for the first time, and not just as extras.

Coach Montemurro started with the following players: Aprile, Gama, Cafferata, Nilden, Garbino, Cantore, Girelli, Palis, Bellucci, Sembrant, Sliskovic. The first half featured a brace from Girelli, scoring in the 13th and 17th minute, assisted by Garbino for the first goal, and Cantore for her second.

In the second half there was room, as anticipated, for the younger players to take to the field, as three players born in 2006 were brought on: Gallina, Bellgente and Termentini. The first followed Girelli's example with a brace, while Bellgente provided the assist for Thomas to score the game's fifth, with Gallina also involved at the start of the move.

A solid performance and good run out for the ladies, who will now turn their attention to Napoli looking to earn a third consecutive league victory.
