The Juventus Women’s First Team has a new reinforcement in goal: Larissa Rusek has joined from German side FC Nurnberg!
The 21-year-old goalkeeper has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Bianconere until 30 June, 2028.
Larissa was born in Austria on 1 January, 2005, and cut her teeth as a youngster with St. Polten’s women’s youth academy, OFB Frauen-Akademie. She arrives in Turin after having had professional experience in both her native Austria and, more recently, Germany.
Before moving to FC Nurnberg, Larissa had played in the Austrian top flight for USV Neulengbach, proving to be a reliable option between the posts and showing great personality at a young age. Beyond being a good shot-stopper, her ability with her feet also came in for praise.
At international level, Larissa has represented Austria’s Under-17s and Under-19s, even going to the Under 20 World Cup in Colombia. She has also been called up to the First Team on multiple occasions, with her first call-up coming in March 2025.
Now, Rusek embarks on a new adventure in Italy with the Bianconere.
Welcome to Juventus, Larissa!
