Matchday -1 for Milan-Juve Women, the fourth last match of the Serie A campaign. Joe Montemurro, as is now customary on the eve of the game, was live on the club's Twitch channel.

He set out the two remaining objectives this season: qualify for the Champions League and win the Italian Cup.

FROM ROMA TO THE SEASON FINALE

"At Roma, from a football point of view, we put on a good performance, but to win you have to score, and that's precisely what they did.

"Between now and the end of the season our objectives are clear, so I want to see pride and professionalism from the girls, for the club and for themselves. It's something we've spoken about as a group, we must not lower our standards, also because it's part of the club culture. Although the title is all but decided, we must look ahead, and this season we've already laid some foundations for next year."

CHARGED UP FOR THE CUP

"We have to be ready for the Coppa Italia final, just like we have to be ready for all the games we play. If we win, we'll be the only club to have always lifted a trophy in the women's game in recent years - it's a worthy incentive. It's a trophy with a history, and we'll fight all the way to win it."

INJURY UPDATE

"[Cristiana] Girelli is still recovering, so she won't be available tomorrow. When situations like Cristiana's injury arise, just a few minutes before the match, if we've worked well, we are prepared to react straight away. [Amanda] Nilden, on the other hand, is ready for the match, which I'm happy about."

THE WEEK'S WORK

"We have been working on refreshing our ideas. There could be some changes. The team is fit and healthy, so by tomorrow we will have weighed up the options also on the basis of each player's condition."

FUTURE PLANS

"My role also includes keeping an eye on the players out on loan, evaluating potential ideas for the future. Our job is to compete at the summit in Italy and get into Europe's top-eight - I've never lost sight of this idea, so even when things aren't going so well, you still have to see the strength of the club. You can't always win, perfection does not exist, but you have to try to reach it."

As always, we don't tell you everything - watch the entire chat (in Italian) with the coach on our Twitch channel!
