There has been a long break.

There has been, in the end, a moment in which Juventus returned on the pitch. An extremely intense and unprecedented summer, that led the Bianconeri to a Scudetto and a Coppa Italia final, with many thrilling and challenging moments.

One thing is certain: this is a summer that will be difficult to forget, and whilst awaiting to begin the physical preparation for the 20/21 season, it's an ideal time to look back and reflect in these five key moments of the restart.

THE CUP ON PENALTIES

Juve beats Milan in the semi-finals, capitalising on the 1-1 draw at the San Siro in the first leg, played months before. It finished 0-0 at the Allianz Stadium and it was 0-0 again a few days later in Rome in the final: it comes down to penalties to decide that the Coppa Italia, the first competition of the summer, goes to Napoli.

PAULO, AFTER THE CLOUDS, THE SUN

The most beautiful Dybala Mask. Between June and July, Paulo Dybala displays extraordinary performances and fundamental goals. But the most important one is scored on the first matchday of the "new" league, against Bologna, on June 22. The first one after Covid. A big goal both for him and for us.

ETERNAL GIGI #648UFFON

Juve-Torino, on July 4, is already a special game, because it's a Derby della Mole that is played during a very warm July afternoon. July 4 is also the day in which Juventus legend, Gianluigi Buffon, goes from #UN1CO to become #648UFFON, as Gigi becomes the most capped player ever in Sere A and in turn, further adding to his living legend in Juventus history.

RECORDMAN-RONALDO

Ronaldo Black & White

Cristiano Ronaldo scored 31 Serie A goals: in Juventus' history, only Felice Borel has done better in a single Serie A season (32 in 1933/34). However, Borel was equalled by CR7 in terms of total goals scored: in all competitions, the Portuguese netted 37 times.

THE NINTH SYMPHONY

With Ronaldo and Federico Bernardeschi's goals, on July 26, Juve beats Sampdoria 2-0 and are crowned Champions of Italy: a record streak in the history of the five major European leagues.
