"We earned a good point, the lads were solid, they played well for the first hour. We knew it wouldn't be easy, Atalanta put us under a lot of pressure. We took a risk in the end, we have to be more careful, but it's part of our growth. We didn't lose, we still scored points and didn't concede a goal. Now let's think about the Derby, which is also very important for maintaining our position in the standings. We could have been calmer in the first half with the ball at our feet, but the boys did well, we lacked a bit of conviction in going for goal. We need to think about playing, we have a difficult match on Saturday, regardless of the fact that we don't have cup games midweek; as I said, we have to stay there in the top four, and not having lost tonight is good for our morale."

“We always play for three points, a draw is two points lost, but in the end it's fair, one half for each side, against a very, very strong team. At a certain point we understood that it shouldn't be lost, as happened in Sassuolo, and we worked to bring home the draw - sometimes you have to accept givng your best and not being able to win. The save? It was coming - after Sassuolo, when you make mistakes you accept them, and then work to improve. We have played some very good matches so far and some more difficult ones, we continue to work to grow and compete at our best, for now we are not looking at the table."

“We played an excellent first half, all we missed was the goal, while near the end we were more tired and that's when the slightest mistake can change the match. The Coach gives me confidence, and the mistake against Sassuolo was important to help me grow; it didn't "kill" me mentally, but it gave me even more energy. These are things that strengthen me, I worked to understand where I had gone wrong and looked to overcome it. This evening Atalanta were looking for superiority over the wingers and it was a dangerous thing because it didn't take much to get into difficulty: we were united, solid, without conceding a goal on a very difficult pitch. It's an excellent point, which helps us work well towards Saturday's match, which is deeply felt and fundamental. There are matches in which maybe you can't win, but you shouldn't lose."
