Imposing and consistent with an aerial ability that strikes fear into the opposition, this is Linda Sembrant and she has committed her future to Juventus. The central defender, who joined the club last summer, has put pen to paper to further extend her contract until June 2021.
Since arriving in Turin, Sembrant has been ever-present in Rita Guarino’s team. In total, she has featured in 20 matches across all competitions and has scored three goals, against Florentia and Inter in Serie A and Empoli in the Coppa Italia. In addition, she already has one trophy to her name: the Italian Super Cup, won in October 2019.
Her consistent displays and impressive form is what has earned her a contract renewal, which will see her don the Bianconera jersey for at least one more year.
