UCL "Final Eight" draw

Should Juventus overturn their 1-0 deficit against Lyon in their UEFA Champions League Last 16 second leg (scheduled for the 7th August at Allianz Stadium, 21:00 CEST), the Bianconeri will play the winner of Real Madrid vs Man City in the quarter-finals.

The tie will take place between the 12-15th August in a one-off fixture, as opposed to the usual home & away legs, after the latter stages of the tournament were moved to Lisbon, taking the shape of a “Final Eight” format due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The whole tournament will conclude on 23rd August.

"First of all, we have to get past Lyon and we know that a very difficult Last 16 second leg awaits us - Vice President, Pavel Nedved commented after the draw - The pairings are very exciting, from the quarters onwards it's difficult to choose an opponent, because all the teams are strong. Real and City are two teams that can aspire to win the competition and it would be a very difficult challenge in any case. Now, however, our goal is to get to Portugal. This new format, with three one-off matches, is very interesting for the whole world of football, also because it will be played in a period when there normally is no football."
