The 2022 World Cup kicked off in Qatar on 20 November 2022.

Eleven Juventus players were called up by their respective national teams for the competition, below is the complete list of the Bianconeri players involved:

  • Weston McKennie (USA)
  • Angel Di Maria and Leandro Paredes (Argentina)
  • Wojciech Szczęsny and Arek Milik (Poland)
  • Adrien Rabiot (France)
  • Dušan Vlahović and Filip Kostić (Serbia)
  • Alex Sandro, Bremer and Danilo (Brazil)

Following the group stages, with USA, Argentina, Poland, France and Brazil all progressing, nine of the 11 players made it to the knock-out phase. Dušan Vlahović and Filip Kostić were the only Bianconeri eliminated at the group stage.

QATAR 2022 | TODAY'S FIXTURES

Saturday 3 December is the first day of the knock-out stages, and Juventus players are involved. The opening last 16 tie pits Netherlands against USA, and Weston McKennie. In the evening, meanwhile, Argentina, with Paredes and Di Maria, take on Australia for a place in the quarter-finals.

Wojciech Szczęsny and Arek Milik (Poland): 0-0 debut against Mexico, 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia with Szczęsny penalty save and Milik header hitting the crossbar and 2-0 defeat against Argentina with another Szczęsny penalty save.
Adrien Rabiot (France): 4-1 win on debut over Australia with a goal and an assist, 2-1 win over Denmark and 1-0 defeat against Tunisia.
Dušan Vlahović and Filip Kostić (Serbia): 2-0 defeat to Brazil, 3-3 draw with Cameroon and 3-2 defeat to Switzerland.
Alex Sandro, Bremer and Danilo (Brazil): 2-0 win over Serbia,1-0 win over Switzerland and 1-0 loss to Cameroon.
