Allievi Nazionali return from Vercelli empty-handed

The Allievi Nazionali suffered their third league defeat of this 2014/15 campaign as neighbours Pro Vercelli triumphed 1-0 in Piedmont earlier today.

Following a goalless first period in which chances were few and far between for both outfits, Manuel De Mitri’s finish on 61 minutes proved the winner to down Felice Tufano’s high-flying side.

Regardless of today’s result, the Allievi Nazionali still remain top of the domestic standings above Empoli. They will next take to the field away at Vicenza on Sunday 15 February.
